This is the second one I've purchased. I have had one of these for years in our summer home in Scotland. I could not remember the name of the maker so I went back into my old Amazon orders and found the company. Todeco. And I also found the clothes rack that I am so fond of at our summer place. They only had two left. The one I've had for so long is about the best thing for dryer clothes short of a dryer. Our summer home is in a cooler and in very wet climate. So hanging the clothes outside is out of the question. This clothes rack moves about easily and neatly. So it is just the right thing to dry clothes on in our kitchen which is always warm .But I digress. The home in Florida is where we spend the bulk of our time especially since covid made everything more difficult. I ordered a second clothes tree for our our Florida home. Putting it together was way harder than the one I put together at our summer place. I ended up going to the hardware store and taking the lock nuts that were too small and the screws that were too short to the hardware store. The hardware was the wrong size and I decided to purchase what I needed. I knew that I did not want to wait for a shipment that might never materialize from China. So I made adjustments with the new nuts and screws. I finally got it al together. And it's now usable, with just one other exception. The frame of the the clothes tree is not as sturdy as the first one I bought several years ago. But even in it's less stable state it is a far superior clothes tree dryer than any I've had earlier in my life.Oh and one additional note: My electric dryer just broke down. At least I have this to use till the repairman gets here!Firstly, I think every laundry drying rack I've seen is not super sturdy. That said, this one fits right into that category. It does what it should, provides a lot of space to dry clothes. My biggest gripe is the leg wheels fold way too easily, just when rolling the rack, so that is rather annoying. I wish there were some kind of lock, or would take a little more force to fold the legs. Because of that, and flimsy-ness, I try hard not to move it around too much. due to the wheels folding, I try to pick it up when I move it, but the poles do come out easily. I also do wish it were a little bit taller so I could have more space between the racks, especially for longer items like pants. When spacing enough for pants, the rest of the racks have very little space in between, so be aware. As laundry racks go, this one is pretty good. It's not super-sturdy, but good enough. You could probably break it with enough heavy clothes. It's a bit tricky to put together. For example, there are some some nuts that fit into hexagonal holes that are supposed to keep the nuts from turning, but the holes are too big, so the nuts turn while you try to tighten the bolts, and since the nuts are recessed in the holes, you can hold the nuts with a wrench, either. I had to wedge a flathead screwdriver into each hole next to the nut to keep it from turning while I tightened the bolt. Also, there are some metal braces that need to be bolted together, but they want to spring apart, so I put a pair of locking pliers on them while I bolted them together. Anyway, if you have some common hand tools are are a little bit handy, it's no big deal. If not it might be a little challenging. Considering what laundry racks are available, I'd buy it again.I bought this to fit a very specific location and it fits well. However the quality is nowhere near what I would expect for over $100. For $30 this is a good item. For $100 definitely look elsewhere unless you need this exactly shape/size.Assembly wasn't difficult, but it was time consuming. Tools are not inc, so you need to have your own basics readily available. It took me a good hour to put it all together.I've gone thru 2 similar to this in the past. The 1st one lasted 3 years and 3 moves. The 2nd one barely made it a month. Have only been using this one for a month so far, but it seems perfect so far!It was relatively easy to put together. It's really lightweight, so if you want to use this outside on a windy day, you'll probably need to weigh it down, or tie it down. You also need to make sure to put an equal amount of weight on each side so it doesn't topple over. I've only been using it for a little while, so I wouldn't know if it rusts yet. I can fit a lot of clothes on there,i have a Haier portable 1cu ft water, I can fit 3-4 large loads on there(which would probably equate to about 2 loads in a regular machine). For how much it can hold, it's not huge. But it is sizeable. I love the wheels on it so I can easily stow it away when I'm done. Overall, it is a good drying rack!Very large well thought out rack. Superiour too the others on amazon. This is a must for those of us using 110v apartment type dryers!I have sweaters and shirts that need to dry flat. This rack will do that and also allow me to dry a lot more delicates at the same time. My husband is thrilled that my clothes are not strung all over the house anymore. As for assembly, I am not particularly handy but I had this thing together in under an hour. It was pretty easy actually. I used a small philips head screwdriver and my husband's drill with a nut driver bit. (Used very slowly to not strip any of the hardware). My hands are small so I didn't have any issue handling the small hardware. I can see how guys with large hands would be particularly frustrated by this though. I have no complaints! The folding arms allow for different types of washing - it can even accommodate large towels with just the top arms folded out and the rest flat. Hang multiple dresses/shirts from hangers off the two wings at the top. It's also on wheels so can be moved very easily. It is tall but I see this as a bonus. My friends have gone and bought ones too! I don't usually give 5 stars but this is worth it (and I get nothing for leaving this review apart from maybe knowing I have helped someone make a right choice :)).This took a feisty old lady (me) around an hour to put together. It was straightforward, and the instructions were OK, but it was fiddly, especially as the screws seemed to barely reach through the structure to enable the bolts to be put on the other end. The structure and screws and bolts amounted to 70 odd pieces. I ended up using two socket and bit sets, screwdriver one side and socket the other, but they still didn’t seem to tighten enough, but perhaps this is how it’s supposed to be.The structure itself, once completed, seems OK and sturdy-ish. The rack sections, once put together, just slide onto the structure itself from the top and are tightened by turning the outer handles. One of mine keeps slipping down and won’t tighten further, so I’m going to move that one to the bottom. The racks can be folded in quite simply, by pulling gently outwards and folding down, and it moves easily on its castors. After I'd moved it the first time I noticed one of the legs with the castor attached had folded inwards, and I'm guessing that this is so when not in use these fold inwards for easier storage.I had to buy something to replace my dreadful Minky Tower Airer, which due to shoddy materials turned out to be a complete disaster, and this is much better. It’s pretty big once up, with a footprint of about 84 x 54 cm, and perhaps a downside is that the rails of the racks are too big to take normal size pegs - I use Beldray soft grip and they just about fit, but I think they’d mark any clothing fastened this way. It’s OK though, and is doing its job. This laundry drying rack comes completely flat packed, it’s not difficult to put together but it is rather footery with small screws and bolts to hold everything together. It is described as being white but it’s not, it’s more of a off white yellow creamy colour, which I don’t suppose really matters because in the grand scheme of things it’s only to dry washing on. I haven’t as yet used to to dry anything on but to be completely honest I am a bit let down by the areas to dry clothes on, it’ll be fine for your tops and underwear but I would be weary of hanging anything with any weight to it, it doesn’t feel sturdy enough and the bars aren’t wide enough to take a towel. Do I think this was good value for money? Probably not....I bought the more expensive one thinking it would come as a whole unit and not need built up, I thought it would feel better quality but it doesn’t. Would I have been better buying buying one of the units at half the price?? In all honesty I really don’t think there would have been a difference and could have saved myself over 25quid - lesson learnt, most expensive doesn’t always mean the best..
