I agree with another reviewer - why didn’t I hear about this before I had my baby?! Thankfully my friend was kind enough to lend us her dockatot deluxe because buying one was not on my to-do list, but that one’s a tight fit come 9 months as it says in their description - yes, I did keep my daughter snug as a bug for all of 9 months. lol I loved how well she slept in it though that I splurged and immediately bought the grand. It was beautiful, but that thing is H-U-G-E (like maybe for a twin size bed type of huge) - I just had to return and get those 300 bucks back. We tried sleeping without it for awhile which was a total fail (I know, I know- she should learn to sleep without one). Enter the JoJo Infant and Toddler lounger! 1/3 of the price but a total quality contender! The lounger is all one piece so no jigsaw puzzle to put back together, and both the lounger and cover are machine washable and dryer safe. I do wish there were more colors for the cover, but hey, white is bleach-able if need be for baby stains. Lol It is roomier and just as sturdy, and I would definitely recommend from newborn and up- worthy investment! Picture of my 11 month old - nearly 22 lbs and 31 inches long attached. You’ll notice the description says baby’s legs will naturally hang off - it doesn’t bother her at all.I purchased this baby lounger for my first grandchild. My daughter loves it. It perfectly cradles my grandbaby and also allows her head to be slightly lifted so that she can see more than just the ceiling overhead. I also love the fact that this will grow with her. Having one end smaller and the other larger allows for it to continue to be used as she becomes a toddler. Currently at two months old, my daughter uses it in her traveling bassinet to cradle her a little more closely. It can also be used on the bed so there's no worry of sleeping with baby. Very well constructed and the travel bag is a nice addition when it's time to go somewhere. We will be adding another cover soon. Highly recommend. My baby hates crib since day one. We tried sleep training her, and she will only take naps in crib. At night she will scream in the crib until she start vomiting. So we stopped with trying to make her sleep in her crib at night. I tried bunch of sleepers and all failed, so she was sleeping with us on the pillow.. just tried this and she slept from 8pm to 8 am straight!!!! Usually wakes up every 3 hours. It's amazing. She is 9 month old and developmentally ahead. She is strong and can roll or crawl or get out of sleeper if she wants. She likes to sleep on her tummy or side. Since I'm an inch away and constantly check on her or her rolling wakes me up, I'm ok with her in it. But I dont think it's safe in the crib. You have to be next to them just in case.Im so glad I ordered this! It’s the perfect size for all babies and toddlers. I wish I found it sooner. My son is 9 months, the small doc a tot would be too small and I’ve read that the larger one is almost twin sized! My 9 month old snuggles right into this and my 5 year old even loves it (her legs hang over like they say in the description but she still loves lounging in it!)The edges are firm so it stops you from rolling towards the baby if used as a co-sleeper. Now I use it in his crib and it helps him feel secure and sleep longer! Amen.Great value, great quality, so comfy and just enough to add comfort and security for a better nights sleep. Thank you!!!!I really liked this bed...but my baby does not. It cradles him perfectly and is a perfect size....but my baby doesn’t think the same. He is a tummy sleeper and so I can’t really use this for him. I put him in it and he wakes up within minutes. I still gave it 5 stars because I feel it’s perfect for the babies that sleep on their back. Unfortunately it didn’t work out for me and I bought it while I was still pregnant and therefore missed the window to return it. I’m bummed because it really is a nice baby bed compared to a $200 Dock a Tot.My baby feels cozy in this but she has a hard time resting her on the outer ring because its kind of stiff. I’ve tried different positions but I guess laying her in the inner area works best. She’s 20 months now and still fits so that’s a plusHeard about this from a girl on IG, her baby was a chunkster and I wanted a comfortable bed/ lounger for my babygirl when she gets here in a couple of months. This fits perfectly in between my husband and I on our queen size bed. He will be leaving for deployments soon so it will just be me and babygirl soon. My package did get lost, but the seller quickly made up for it and sent me another out with extra covers for the jojo. The extra colors are perfect too, a beautiful gray and a beautiful green. I will update when babygirl gets here to see how she likes it. I’m also using it for her graco pack and play. This was the only lounger our 5 month old girl would actually sleep in! After many fruitless attempts at having her in her crib, out of desperation, we decided to try a co-sleeper. What a difference. She went from sleeping only a couple hours in a row to now up to 6 on her own. It took a little over a week to get her used to it: the first several days were rough, but she started to stay asleep for longer periods-and more restful sleep I might add.
