The Boys' Ajax Down Jacket is a puffer style designed to keep your child warm in cold or damp conditions. This winter-ready jacket is insulated with 600 fill power down and protected with Down Defender—a moisture-resistant treatment that keeps the coat's insulation from clumping and losing its loft when exposed to wet environments, thus increasing its ability to retain warmth when the weather takes a turn for the worse. The Ajax is also outfitted with zippered handwarmer pockets to keep his fingers toasty, a wind flap to protect the front zipper from drafts, and elastic-bound cuffs that provide a secure fit and help to keep out the cold. Your child's arms will retain full mobility through it all, thanks to the built-in Angel-Wing Movement.

After spending a lot of time looking at winter jackets at a variety of online stores for my soon to be 8 year old son, I came across this Blue Marmot. Compared to the prices at many other online retailers, the price was very good and so I decided to take a chance and purchase it. First, let me say, that as is almost always the case, the shipping of this jacket was very fast. The color is beautiful and it keeps my son warm without being bulky. My son, who is pretty picky about what he wears, does not like bulky clothing or jackets, and is sensitive to how things fit and feel on him, really likes it. I ordered a medium, and my son is slender at 50 inches tall and around 54 pounds. The jacket fits well with some room for him to grow into next year. He wore the jacket to go sledding and snowboarding (with temperatures in the mid-20’s) and it kept him warm without requiring many layers under it. I’m very pleased with this purchase.
